Tampa General Hospital – Annex Electrical Upgrades

This infrastructure project will reconfigure electrical services to the existing Annex Building. Two existing generators will be removed, and all essential loads will be connected to the existing generation at the CEP, which will also undergo a major expansion in 2020. New normal and essential unit substations will be provided to serve new distribution throughout the Annex. The approximately $4 million project will also electrically segregate the Annex and improve overall system reliability with new, oil-filled unit substations in the Annex, as well as new submersible, solid dielectric medium-voltage switchgear at the building exterior.
