Falkenburg Road Jail Central Energy Plant – Power Systems Analysis

This hardened facility includes 5MW of new on-site generation, medium voltage paralleling switchgear, and 15kV distribution throughout the existing campus.  In addition to performing an arc flash analysis, protective device coordination study, and short-circuit analysis for the entire system, Emerald also provided all protective settings for the Schweitzer MV relays in the paralleling switchgear and other MV distribution lineups.  All analyses were performed using SKM PowerTools software.
