FBI South Florida Headquarters – Power Systems Analysis

This 475,000sf Federal Office Building, located in Miramar, FL had an approximate construction cost of $190 million.  The GSA project was developed in pursuit of the 2030 Zero Environmental Footprint project goal, which mandates that federal buildings achieve zero net energy use by 2030.  Emerald worked directly with the electrical equipment manufacturer, electrical contractor, utility provider and project engineers to perform an arc flash analysis, protective device coordination study, and short-circuit analysis for the entire development.  All analyses were performed using SKM PowerTools software.
