Ina A. Colen Academy

Ina A. Colen Academy is a tuition-free public charter school located in the Calesa Township community of Marion County, Florida. Founded in 2020, this innovative K–8 school operates within a modern, 116,000-square-foot facility designed for up to 1,000 students—and master-planned for future phases reaching 2,000. The academy provides a hands-on, whole-child educational experience grounded in project-based learning and social-emotional development. Classrooms are generously sized, with indoor–outdoor flexibility, courtyards, STEM and DaVinci labs, and are supportive of collaborative and experiential learning.
