Marco Island Fire & Rescue Station 50

Emerald was retained to provide comprehensive mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection (MEP/FP) design services for this specialized facility. The project features a three-bay fire truck garage, a high-rise practice stair tower for firefighter training, a decontamination area, an oxygen tank storage and fill room, sleeping quarters, a kitchen and dining area, an emergency operations center with dedicated command server rooms, and administrative offices.

The design scope also included supplemental systems such as well water infrastructure, water, sewer, and rainwater storage tanks, standby generators, auxiliary HVAC systems, and exhaust purge systems. The fire stair training tower was equipped with specially designed standpipes and fire department connections to support practice scenarios for firefighters.
