Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casinos – Power Systems Analysis

Beginning in 2016, Seminole Gaming embarked on a multi-billion-dollar expansion of both their Tampa and Hollywood campuses, comprised of dozens of projects across multiple phases of construction. Emerald performed comprehensive power systems analyses for all expansions and renovations, working directly with the electrical equipment manufacturer, electrical contractor, utility provider and project engineers to perform an arc flash analysis, protective device coordination study, and short-circuit analysis for the entire distribution system. All analyses were performed using SKM PowerTools software. Emerald’s involvement also included electrical construction BIM modeling for the entire developments. All modeling was performed using Autodesk Revit & Navisworks.
