Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casinos – Power Systems Analysis

Beginning in 2016, Seminole Gaming launched a multi-billion-dollar expansion of its Tampa and Hollywood campuses—an extensive development consisting of dozens of projects across multiple construction phases. Emerald performed comprehensive power systems analyses for all expansions and renovations.

Our team collaborated closely with the electrical equipment manufacturer, electrical contractor, utility provider, and project engineers to deliver Arc Flash Analysis, Protective Device Coordination Study, and a Short-Circuit Analysis. All power systems studies were completed using SKM PowerTools software, ensuring accurate modeling and code compliance across complex electrical distribution networks.

In addition to engineering analysis, Emerald also provided detailed electrical construction BIM modeling for both campuses. Our team used Autodesk Revit and Navisworks to produce accurate, clash-free models that supported efficient construction and coordination throughout the multi-phase developments.
