Tampa General Hospital – Thyroid & Parathyroid Operating Suite

This 35,000-square-foot renovation of the 6th floor at the Bayshore Pavilion repurposed the former Endoscopy suite into a state-of-the-art surgical area. The project includes the creation of three new thyroid operating rooms and the conversion of four existing parathyroid procedure rooms into fully equipped ORs. Each new operating room is outfitted with Stryker equipment, as well as integrated anesthesia and monitor booms. Additional renovations included upgrades to the existing PACU and Prep/Recovery areas, along with the addition of new ultrasound rooms, laboratories, and frozen section spaces to support expanded clinical functions
