University of Tampa – Plant Hall

Emerald Engineering is proud of our continued involvement with MEP upgrades and renovations at The University of Tampa’s Plant Hall building in what was once the Tampa Bay Hotel.  Originally built in the late 1800’s, the building’s now functions as a museum, classroom space, administrative offices, and banquet hall. Examples of recent projects include the Grand Salon Ballroom renovation, University President office renovation and multiple classroom renovations.  We have provided master plan studies for the electrical and mechanical systems and executed major portions of electrical distribution and chilled water distribution upgrades throughout the building.
